EUROPEAN SUPPORT 2022 ~ US 2nd Cavalry Deploys to Romania

US 2nd Cavalry Regiment soldiers prepared Stryker vehicles to deploy from Vilseck in Germany to Romania on the EUROPEAN SUPPORT 2022 mission.

The 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2CR) will augment more than 900 US personnel already in Romania in support of ATLANTIC RESOLVE. This latest move is in response to the current security environment and to reinforce the deterrence and defensive posture on NATO’s eastern flank.
