Our apologies if it has seemed a little quiet on here today but we reckon we have a good excuse in the form of the 1 (UK) Division ELF exposition, writes Bob Morrison.

The inaugural 1XX Expeditionary Light Forces expo took place in Catterick Garrison today and we were delighted to receive an invitation yesterday to cover this interesting and forward-looking symposium with associated exhibition.
The long journey back from North Yorkshire to our Devonshire base is now underway and, assuming all goes to plan over the next couple of days, I will report on the event by the end of the week. Normal service should resume tomorrow.
