US DoD Contract Notice, Washington, 23 September 2021: Galvion Ballistics, Newport, Vermont, has been awarded an estimated $36,500,000 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for advanced combat helmets.
This was a competitive acquisition with four responses received. This is a two-year contract with no option periods. Location of performance is Vermont, with a Sept. 24, 2023, ordering period end date. Using military services are Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2021 through 2023 defense working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
