BIDEC, the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference, commenced in Manama today under patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, reports Bob Morrison.

Held primarily at the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Centre, supported by shooting and sniping demos on National Guard and Bahrain Defence Forces ranges, the BIDEC 2019 expo primarily showcases tri-service equipment and systems from around the Middle East as well as attracting international defence manufacturers who wish to introduce their products to prospective regional military and security industry buyers.
