The War And Peace Revival is underway again at the Hop Farm at Beltring near Paddock Wood in Kent and the summer heatwave is making it a classic, writes Bob Morrison.

I have been attending War & Peace since the very first show held at Tenderden in 1983, not every single year but I have only missed a handful, and this year the weather is by far the hottest and sunniest I can remember.

An absolute must for restored military vehicle enthusiasts, modern era military re-enactors and militaria / nostalgia collectors, the show runs through to Saturday (27th) and you can guarantee there will be plenty to keep boys and girls, both parents and children, amused and entertained for hours on end. It looks like the warm weather will last through to Saturday too, albeit possibly with the odd thunderstorm, though thankfully the thermometer won’t hit today’s high of 36C!
